Song Joong-ki, born on September 19, 1985, in Daejeon, South Korea, is a highly acclaimed South Korean actor and host. He made his debut in the film industry in 2008 with the costume movie "Frost Shop". The following year, he became the host of the popular music program "Music Bank" and also became a regular guest on the entertaining show "Running Man".


In 2010, Song Joong-ki portrayed the character of Goo Yong Ha in the costume drama "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" and received the esteemed Best Popularity Award at the KBS Acting Awards for his remarkable performance.


He continued to earn accolades, winning the Best Popularity Award at the KBS Acting Awards in 2011 for his role in the costume historical drama.

However, following the divorce announcement, a reporter visited the old residence only to discover that all the photos and memorabilia related to "Descendants of the Sun" had been removed.


On January 30 of this year, Song Joong-ki officially announced his remarriage, sharing the joyful news that his wife, Katie Louise Sanders, was expecting a child. Katie, a former actress who retired from the industry in 2018, subsequently relocated to South Korea to work as a language educator. Song Joong-ki and Katie met through a mutual acquaintance in 2021.
